Hello All,

I'm getting things organized for this day and age.  It seems that the best way to get your ideas out for all to judge is to keep it a secret, everybody loves secrets :-). 

First off, I'm getting slightly disheartened that there are people in my country that continue to choose to support such divisive propaganda, so I'm going to start tagging particular pieces of this propaganda, the meme, with #anotherfinepieceofartfromrussiantrolls

Frankly, I'm tired of the bell-curve only half ass'ing it.  People have become so dense that they cannot fathom another frame of reference, apparently the adage of not judging another person until you have walked a mile in their shoes has been forgotten.

Then, there is the saying that money is the root of all evil...I disagree.  Money is a tool, neither good nor evil, it just is.  No, the root of all evil is greed...greed in ones' time, financial greed, greed for attention, greed for compassion...greed, greed, greed.  I truly believe that if we can get a handle on that within ourselves, the outcome overall will be positive.  I think it is OK to desire something, it is OK to have the drive to be better, but when the compulsions change into greed, our judgements become increasingly clouded, and the costs of such become too great.

As all things, politics shift with time, a once conservative belief could become a liberal one, and vice versa.  In the United States, classically speaking, a "conservative view" is one that sees the application of the law as it is written, whereas a "liberal view" is one that sees the application of the law as it was historically intended.  One viewpoint seems to intend the laws to be re-written as society requires and the other viewpoint seems to intent to have a single law that can carry through societal changes.  Our laws here are written both ways, some inherently conservative intended to expire, some inherently liberal intended to last the test of time.  Overall, even around the world, I would argue that generally speaking, and crossing into the religious world, people value intent in meaning with what is written over what is actually written.  The genius, and the problem, is that intent is subjective...change a few ingredients and now you have two opposite opinions of the intent of what is written. 

That is why it is so important for people to stop half ass'ing it.  People need to try and understand HOW someone came to their conclusions and WHY they believe the things they do, before passing judgement on what their conclusions and beliefs are.  The how and why are more important than the what.

Two years ago on April 20^th, I “came to” while I was being guided to a stretcher with the remark “Hey guys, what’s goin’ on?” in a very calm and somewhat lackadaisical manner. 

The paramedics started to explain what was going on and I was asked a couple of questions, for which I got one wrong, but not really a big deal.  I understand that if I regain consciousness and there are paramedics around, and I’m standing, and I’m being cooperative, and I walked myself down the stairs…I’m probably OK and the whole ambulance ride is a formality.  I could see that my wife was a little distressed, so I knew something happened.

Turns out I had a grand mal seizure.  The doctor said that it was likely caused by general stress, the car accident I was in a few months prior, or from a bug bite which I got when I was working in the yard.  I was told that a single seizure in a persons life is not uncommon.

I mention this just as a point of reference, a starting point so to speak.  This journey that I am on, and will take you with me, will be weird.  It will challenge your understanding of yourself and those around you.  It will be confusing, and may not particularly like what I have to say, but I challenge you to suspend initial disbelief and just think…
